Moving Files to Another Drive

I was previously using the old version of iTunes which worked fine for me. I have a collection of over 5000 movies and I moved them around to different online drives. to do so, I did the following (lets say my movie is on the D drive and I want to move it to the G drive :

1- copy the movie from d:\movies to g:\movies

2-delete the movie from d:\movies

3-open iTunes and try to play the movie

4-iTunes send me message that it cannot locate the file and ask me to select a new file folder

5-I will then select g:\movies and iTunes will ask me if I want to do the same with all missing files.

All this is not possible with Apple TV and it is a big problem. Any help or Suggestion ?

iPhone 12 mini, iOS 17
