Strange Wi-Fi issues in the Home app with HomePods iOS26
I’ve observed the following: After I wasn’t able to restart my HomePods mini as usual and instead had to remove them from the system, I noticed in the settings that the Wi-Fi symbol was “crossed out” – even though the HomePods were functioning normally.
After I finally restarted my iPhone, the Wi-Fi symbol suddenly displayed correctly again, and from that moment on I was able to restart the HomePods via the Home app without any issues. Unfortunately, however, the problem reappears after some time, and I have to restart the iPhone again.
his suggests to me that the issue is more likely related to the Home app on the iPhone. I also reset the settings on the iPhone, but it didn’t help. Has anyone else experienced such strange problems?
