Cannot send e-mail with iCloud in Sequoia with MacBook Air.

Running Sequoia on my Macbook Air. Cannot send e-mail with iCloud. Shows server offline. My ISP no longer supports e-mail or SMTP and iCloud attempts to send using that old server. I have to use my Google server to send any mail and it sends as my g-mail address. How can I change the server in iCloud? I have no problems at all with my iPhone or iPad. Very frustrating. Thanks for any guidance.

Try to remove the old SMTP server: Change Outgoing server settings in Mail on Mac – Apple Support (UK).

Strangely, I do not have an iCloud SMTP server either, nor do I have one for Google, even though I use both. I only have the server for my 3rd email account.

I'm not sure how to guide you from there. Try to turn off iCloud Mail in System Settings > [your name] > iCloud, reboot your Mac and turn iCloud Mail back on.

Otherwise, here are the settings for iCloud Mil: iCloud Mail server settings for other email client apps - Apple Support. But I'm not really sure you can use them as they seem to be reserved for non-Apple applications.
