AirPods Pro 3 tips help and Noise Cancellation

I just brought a set of AirPod pro 3, basically to replace my 1st Gen AirPods (yes I know lol :) Anyway my query is I am struggling to get a consistent good seal with any of the included size ear tips. I manage to get one occasionally by using a large in my right ear and XXSin my left ear but even that seems temperamental and not consistent, domes it says good seal and some it doesn’t.

any advice or thoughts.

But also how does ANC work on AirPods in general does it only work with a good seal with the tips because I know the off, adaptive, noise cancellation setting etc but when noise cancellation is selected etv it makes no difference to outside sound etc.

I do have AirPod max and it works fine on that and when I choose the various options for ANC so that’s why I am confused with AirPod Pro’s etc

Any help, thoughts, advise be much greatful.
