How to remove previous user's iCloud data from iPad after signing out?

My sister was signed in into my ipad therefore she had put her apple id and iCloud, and since now I’m going to be using it I signed out from her account and put in my apple id, but her pictures and messages are still stored in the iPad, why is that and how can I fix it?

You should erase the iPad entirety before using it.

When signing out of an account, files and photos are not deleted from the device. Neither are any installed apps and those will remain forever tied to the Apple Account that download them and require its password to update.

You should completely erase the iPad and set it up from scratch.
