LED Flash Alerts Not Working

My LED flash for alerts will only work when I toggle on all of them…

Flash the iPhone indicator light for notifications - Apple Support

Eg: says:

1. "Go to Settings  > Accessibility > Audio & Visual, then turn on LED Flash for Alerts.
2. Turn any of the following on or off:

• • Flash While Unlocked: The indicator light flashes even when iPhone is unlocked.
  • Flash in Silent Mode: The indicator light flashes even when iPhone is in Silent mode."

Seems toggling on "LED Flash for Alerts" is necessary, yet the other two options can be on or off.

You may want to try toggling all three off, then restart your iPhone. (deletes temporary files, re-establishes connections, may update the setting changes you have been trying, and often restores order. Then try toggling "LED Flash for Alerts" back on, and test if it is working on ringtone mode ok.
