The iPhone X cannot be updated to iOS 17. Your options may include adding Gmail to the Apple Mail app instead of using the Gmail app or using an internet browser (e.g., Safari) to access your Gmail.

please find a suitable way for it.
I am stack.
Sincerely.

Developers make the decision as to the minimum version of iOS to require for their apps.

If the GMail app now requires iOS 17 or later, you will need to get a different phone, or live without that app. You could try contacting Google and asking them to release a new version of the app that will run on iOS 16, but the chances of Google doing that are not very good.

They, basically, have decided that they do not need to fully support older phones.
