unable to join family for 70 days

I was removed twice from my Family Sharing group because the organizer had to update the payment card. Now the payment method has been fixed and payments are working correctly, but I received a 70-day block from rejoining Family Sharing.

This was not due to any misuse, just a payment method update.

Is there any way to contact Apple Support to lift this restriction earlier, or has anyone experienced the same issue and found a solution?

Thank you in advance.

I don't know why you had to leave the family while a payment method was being set up.

This paragraph has reference to a wait period but you do not mention anything about changing Apple ID. Either that or you are in the countdown for the annual limit.

You are welcome to contact Apple about anything but realize they may just tell you that you have to wait it out.

Select from the presented options until you find a solution for your issue, or see if there is a chat or phone call contact method offered lower on the page under “Get more help” (you sometimes have to narrow down the options multiple times before this is shown). If you do not see your issue, keep experimenting with any series of selections until you reach one that offers a chat session or a telephone call and get the representative to redirect you.

Not every country has telephone support, and phone numbers may only work when calling from the same country.
