You can try this:
Change your Display Zoom Setting:
This essentially tells your iPhone to display content as if it were a smaller screen, which often disables the landscape split view.
- Open Settings.
- Tap Display & Brightness.
- Look for Display Zoom or View (under Display Zoom).
- If it's currently set to Standard, change it to Zoomed (or Larger Text on some models/iOS versions).
- Tap Set (or Done) in the upper right corner to confirm the change.
- Your iPhone may restart to apply the new display setting.
After your iPhone restarts, open the Mail app and rotate your phone to landscape. The two-pane split screen view should be replaced with a single, full-screen view of the message, similar to how smaller iPhones handle landscape mode in Mail.
Keep in mind that this will also make everything on your iPhone's screen appear slightly larger, which is the tradeoff for disabling the landscape split view.
