iOS 26 & Apple Card balances, transactions are missing

I recently updated to iOS 26 on my new iPhone 17 Pro, and since then all past Apple Card transactions—including those from earlier this month—have disappeared from the Wallet app. The current balance shown is inaccurate, even though the payment-due amount still appears correct.

I called Apple Card support and was transferred to Goldman Sachs, only to be told that Apple is ultimately responsible for this issue. My September 30th payment is not in dispute—I intend to pay it—but it is unacceptable that such a core function as transaction history can vanish. Major card issuers like Amex or Chase would never allow high-spending customers to lose access to their records.

This failure undermines trust in the Apple Card. If past transactions cannot be reliably displayed until the monthly PDF statement is released, the card is effectively unusable for real-time expense tracking. The timing is especially painful: I was in France earlier this month managing expenses related to my mother’s unexpected passing and need accurate records for family and legal matters. At present, only the August PDF is downloadable from the website, and no September data is available.

Could someone point me to official documentation or a senior support channel that can prevent this from recurring? This is a serious gap in service and technology that demands immediate attention.

What troubleshooting steps have you undertaken so far? Which model iPhone are you using and which iOS are you using on the device?

In regard to support, this may be either an Apple issue or Goldman Sachs issue. I’ve provided support team contact information for both companies.

For me this started on my iPhone 13 running iOS 18 in August 2025. I lost all recent Apple Card transactions going back to January 2023. New purchases do not appear but my wife (account co-owner) can see everything. I made numerous calls to Apple & Goldman Sachs (both point the finger at the other). A couple weeks ago Apple finally opened a technical service report but nothing has been resolved.

I have deleted and re-installed credit card and the Wallet app; logged out and back in of iCloud, even completely erased my iPhone 13, nothing has solved the problem. I upgraded to iOS 26 hoping it would fix the problem, NOPE, not even 26.0.1 fixed it.

Apple's software “improvements" have been increasingly disappointing. They have prioritized shiny stickers over stability and continuity. I’m seriously considering getting a brick phone and leaving all their “most, best ever” hype behind.

Correct, I have lost the 'on screen' transactions following the iOS 26.0.0 update. the 26.0.0.1 update made no changes. I can download the statements in PDF.

But it's Sept 30th. Bill is due today, I paid it. I have no idea what I paid for. The staff on the phone is saying the PDF will be available soon on the Oct 1st to access the Sept transactions.

My monthly in Aug was $157.27. We spent everything on our family of four on this card and it's loaded exactly four transactions every month for the past few months.

This is absurd beyond belief.

You are correct. The "on-screen" translations do not match the PDF transactions. I have access to the PDF statements and they show the full and accurate transactions. The display shows non-sensical information. This is a screenshot of the past few months and only 4 or 5 transactions have been listed.

I was able to download the Sept transaction in PDF and it shows 100+ transactions. The app does not show any transactions between Sept 1 and Sept 12th.

Re: “… Major card issuers like Amex or Chase would never allow high-spending customers to lose access to their records …”

Your post inferred — at least to me — that you’d lost the “on-screen” transaction info and other “as displayed in wallet” values. .

Have you also lost access to any of your prior statements as well ? (The “September” statement shouldn’t be available for a few more hours)

Thank you but there is nothing sideways about me.

This app does not work visualizing past transactions. I think the database on local storage must be corrupted? The app is computing spending trends but doesn't have the historical records of transactions.

I've contacted the GS support and they're saying it's an Apple Card app issue. I've opened a ticket in the message support with Apple Card and nothing so far.

Just take a step back with me about how ridiculous this is. A credit card app that doesn't show you your past transactions in the way you expect.

You can see on the left the Sept 10-12 transactions in PDF and then app has $1.29 in the same time period. Why can't the app see transactions less than a month old?
