Leaving iCloud storage family plan and using individual iPhone storage

We have a family plan for 2T. Can 2 of us leave the plan and just use our IPhone storage, leaving the single person (organizer) on the family plan?

  1. iCloud Storage and iPhone local Storage are separate things. One does not replace the other. You iPhone. uses its own local storage whether or not you share iCloud+ storage.
  2. You can leave the family sharing group and stop partaking in the shared features including the iCloud storage. The Organizer will remain in the plan as its their plan.
  3. If you don't subscribe to your own iCloud Storage plan and you have more than 5GB of data stored in iCloud anything that exceeds 5GB will be deleted.
