Can I integrate ARKit's tracking into a Final Cut Pro plugin?

I recently had an idea to develop a FCP 11 plugin (using FXPlug SDK) similar to mTracker3D or NUKE's camera tracker. Is there any way to use the ARKit framework's capabilities to implement camera tracking for pre-recorded Final Cut Pro timeline videos?

The main problem is that ARSession object is only available for iOS and visionOS apps, and neither ARView nor RealityView have an ARSession for desktop apps (due to the fact that this is VR, not AR, and it's understandable).

The second question is whether it's possible to load images from pre-recorded video on the FCP timeline into the ARKit buffer instead of images from the mobile device's live camera?

I really hope that someone of the ARKit or FCP engineering team will give me a competent answer.
