iOS 26 Bug: Display Zoom Blocks Call Button in Phone App

In the latest version of iOS 26 (26.0, build 23A345), when Display Zoom is set to ‘Larger Text’, the Keypad Call button in the Phone app becomes blocked by the menu bar, making it difficult to initiate calls. I experienced this problem on an iPhone 17 Pro. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem…

Settings / Display & Brightness / Display Zoom: Larger Text / Done / Use Zoomed / Done / Open ‘Phone’ app / Tap ‘Keypad’ / The zoomed keypad buttons are all shifted downward, and the green Call button is now blocked by the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. (This problem occurs in both Unified view, and Classic view.)

If anyone knows of a workaround for this, please post it here. (I have reported the problem on the Apple Feedback website.)

The workaround at the moment is to use Settings, Display & Brightness. Display Zoom, Default, not Large

The only workaround at the moment is to use default, though in mine the button is still live at the edge.

Same issue here -- Display Zoom is often poorly beta-tested it seems.

I reported it also so hopefully fixed in 26.1. Any other readers should also submit a bug report here to Apple Feedback: Product Feedback - Apple

I have the same issue, but the problem doesn’t go away even if I switch text size to smaller, regardless of what Display settings or text size I use, or if I turn off larger sizes completely.

Brand new phone. Jeez.

Same problem on my 17 Pro. Does not appear on my 16 Pro upgraded to iOS 26. Interesting. Reported thru Feedback app.

I have the same issue. Also, In the YouTube app videos viewed in portrait are partially blocked by the dynamic island.
