My Apple Card was blocked after two purchases

I just received the credit card, and with my second purchase, the card was rejected and blocked. I had to call customer service; after fixing the problem, I made another purchase, and the account was blocked again. I had to waste time calling customer service once more. It is somewhat annoying when they do not offer a faster verification method for making purchases. I don’t recommend it.

I’ve been using my card since 2019, so 6+ years now. No issues, even when traveling overseas.

Who is the merchant? Some merchants will raise suspicions in the fraud algorithm the bank uses. Certain category of purchases can also trip the algorithm. For example purchasing large quantities of gift cards is an example.

The typical verification process is GS texts the cardholder requesting verification of the purchase and cardholder confirms purchase and it’s approved.

No issues with using the Apple Card on my end. Been using it since day 1. Unfortunately we do not have access to your account to determine what the verification problem is. Are you maybe using a VPN?
