Hi, I took my M2 Studio to the Apple Store when after several occasions the start-up button lamp flashed once then nothing happened. After some investigation, the technicians reloaded the firmware but on getting it back to the office after about a week I had the same problem. However, I discovered by accident that if I removed the power cord for 30 seconds and plugged it back in it reset the start-up chip and I could start the system which worked for a short while. So, I took it back to the store for technicians to investigate further and they came to the conclusion that this was an issue with the start-up process; to correct the issue the main logic board was replaced as with Apple silicon (like the M1 or M2), this functionality is integrated into the Apple Silicone itself.
I had Apple Care, so the repair process was smooth and covered by Apple Care. So far, the issue has not recurred.
