Taking control of my companies phones via domain capture and conversion to fully managed
Hi there, having taken the step to fully control the company's iPhones and iPads, which my predecessor seems to failed to do, I firstly ensured that I could successfully manage a test phone via AMB+Intune and that is all fine. Next I started the domain capture and those that had company phones used the company domain started to get messages asking if ok to transfer iCloud account to my control. Some did this fine and others found that it said that health data existed which needed to be deleted and which they couldn't find and to those, I said just wait until domain capture complete and I would create them new logins via ABM. Others simply ignored the various messages entirely. Now we are a stage where temporary iCloud accounts have been created with email addresses such as firsname.lastname-domain@temporary.appleaccount.com. For some reason the users missed the opportunity to set the password for this new iCloud account and now I'm really struggling to reset the password! I have access to the recovery number but Apple insist on also sending an email to this new iCloud email address which clearly I have no access to!!! I've tried the reset password option and first it said I should wait 24 hours and a message would be sent to the recovery mobile number and now it says that I must wait 6 days!!! Surely this is madness???? How can Apple create temporary iCloud accounts with no ability to reset the passwords on them? Am I missing something here? Help would be sincerely appreciated, thank you
