Searching in Agenda/Calender does not work on macOS Tahoe
After updating to MAC OS Tahoe I can't search in my agenda. This is very annoying. Probably something that can be fixed?

After speaking extensively with Apple Support on multiple occasions, they have concluded that the next update should resolve the issue. We've truly gone through every possible step, and it's definitely not due to anything in my settings. Not at all. We simply have to wait for Apple to fix this problem with the next update.
Fingers crossed!
Just updated to MacOS 26.0.1 and the search problem in Agenda/Calendar is solved!!!
I also can't search the calendar in my MacBook Pro, Tahoe 26.0.1. When I first updated my iPhone 17 to iOS 26, the search didn't work there either for a bit, but then it fixed itself. When I try to search for things I KNOW are in the calendar, on my computer, it will only show me things from 2020 or before. This is really annoying...
This problem has been around since September 23, 2025, right after updating to macOS Tahoe 26 — and here we are, with Tahoe 26.1, and it’s still broken.
Calendar search works fine on my iPhone 13 Pro (beta), but on my MacBook it simply does not work at all. Not partially. Not sometimes. Not at all.
A quick search online shows that I’m far from the only one experiencing this. This is a core productivity feature failing for months now.
Honestly, this is unacceptable. Come on, Apple — stop ignoring this and fix it.
Hi Alicia, I've dicovered that Calendar search doesn't work on my iPhone 15 Pro, nor my iPad Pro, both of which are running iOS26.1. Calendar search works on my wife's iPad, but not on her iPhone 16 Pro, again both running iOS26.1. So I'm wondering if its a problem with my iCloud account, or some setting that has been globally changed when I updated. It seems so random.
Hi Steven - Calendar search does work on my iPad, which is only running iOS 17.7.10. It's an older iPad & won't update any further than that. I can't see how it would be a problem with our iCloud accounts, since all of my devices are on the same account, & I know I didn't change any settings. It must be something that Apple did. SO frustrating...
Same problem over here. Has always worked just fine, but since Tahoe 26.0 I get no search results. This is a big problem for me!
After the update it does work on my iPhone, but still no searching on my MacBook
What is your experience?
Works, both on my iPhone and my MacBookPro
same for me. doesn't work with macOS 26.1 or iPadOS 26.1. But still works on iPhone iOS 26.0.1
I'm up to date on my iPhone 17 with iOS 26.1, & now I can't search in my calendar again. And I still can't search on my MacBook Pro that's running Tahoe. >:-[
Great for you. Unfortunately it did not work for me. Still waiting!
I don't know which version of Tahoe 26 you are referring to in your post, but my OS is Tahoe 26.1 and the problem is still there.
Same. Still there. And I still can't search on my iPhone 17, which is also up to date. This is a REALLY important feature that is not working. C'mon, Apple...
Update: New revelation (for what it's worth). I did a search on my MacOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1 for the word "dinner" and it worked... but only for events Oct 2023 and older. What the??? So I thought the key to the error was failure to search beyond 2023. Nope. Searching for words other than "dinner" revealed no results. C'mon Apple.
