Persistent clicking/tapping sound in brand new AirPods Pro 3

Hello,

I recently purchased brand new AirPods Pro 3, and unfortunately I’m experiencing a very frustrating issue that feels like an old, unresolved problem from earlier generations.

Both earbuds produce a distinct clicking/tapping sound whenever I:

tilt or turn my head,

move my head side to side,

or simply walk while wearing them.

This happens consistently in both the left and right earbuds.

I’ve already tried all the recommended steps:

updated to the latest firmware,

reset and re-paired the AirPods multiple times,

tested them with different devices.

Everything is brand new and up to date, but the problem persists.

Since I often use my AirPods Pro mainly in Noise Cancellation mode while walking, this issue is extremely noticeable and makes it unpleasant to use them in daily life.

Could you please advise on the next steps? I’d like to know if this is a known issue with AirPods Pro 3 and whether replacement or repair is possible.

What also worries me is that, just like in my previous experience, the Genius Bar insisted there was “no problem” and refused to replace the AirPods — until Apple later launched the AirPods Pro Service Program for Sound Issues for the 1st generation. I’m concerned that the same situation may be repeating here.
