Accessing Admin page for mobile hotspot in safari

Safari won’t allow me to log into the admin page for my Verizon Hotspot because it is http:// vs https://. I have accessed this page in the past through safari in order to change the password to the hotspot so am not sure why I can’t now?

Check for firmware updates for the Hotspot, and check with Verizon Support.

Safari and other browsers have tightened security requirements.

Though I don’t recommend leaving it off, you can temporarily disable the warning in the Settings > Apps > Safari settings: “Not Secure Connection Warning”.
