Tiling windows unavailable; working with two screens is dysfunctional; control centre auto reset.

• I am completely unable to tile windows, and the tiling setting in the System Settings app are turned off and I am unable to turn them on.
• Using the Mac with an external screen causes a lot of issues: Entering full screen on one display renders a black screen in the other and the menu bar becomes very glitchy; swapping between windows on one display also swaps displays in the other screen.
• Less important, but annoying nonetheless, I changed my control centre to my preference and it was reset to its default layout shortly after.
