Mail in iOS 26 shows Follow Up Suggestions even though it’s disabled

Even though Follow Up Suggestions are disabled in the Apple Mail app on my iPhone, I still get emails from my ”Sent”-folder showing upp as follow-up suggestions in my Inbox.

This occurs for all my email accounts (including iCloud, Gmail and IMAP) and started occurring after upgrading to iOS 26.

I have tried turning on the setting and turning it off again, but the problem still occurs.

Please note: my iPhone is set to Swedish language and email sorting by threads is disabled.

Is this a bug?
