Maximum number of groups reached in Apple Home possibly due to iCloud data size
Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me? I have been a long term Apple Home user, modifying and adding many devices, automations including a physical home move and readapting Apple Home to work at new place.
i keep getting error messages like, ‘Maximum number of groups reached’ I am pretty sure this is because I have exceeded the file size within iCloud.
i have read a number of articles which suggests a ‘reset profile’ which can be installed to purge any Home data within iCloud.
i have already deleted my home so i figure i have nothing else to lose.
I cannot find how to get this profile to erase the data, can anyone point me in the right direction please?
