Sounds like you have a phone that is Activation Locked.


If you are the owner to whom the phone is locked, enter the Apple ID and password that the phone is asking for. If you are the original purchaser of the iPhone, bought it from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller, and have proof of purchase that would be satisfactory to Apple, you can submit an Activation Lock Support request.
