Safari 26.0.1 MacOS Sequoia compact tab layout issues

There is no more button to close non active tab. You must first open tab and then close it.

Performance of compact layout after 2-3 activities with it drops drastically (I mean interface responsiveness).

How to fix these or just wait for 26.0.2?
