Apple Watch 10 Battery Draining Quickly After Updating to WatchOS 26

I recently updated my Apple Watch 10 to OS 26, and now I’m experiencing a significant drop in battery life. After a full charge, the battery only lasts about 3 to 4 hours. I’ve tried restarting the watch and disabling background apps, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else faced this issue with OS 26? Any tips or suggestions on how to resolve the rapid battery drain?

Thanks!

If force restarting your watch and iPhone did not work to stop the battery drain, erasing and pairing the watch again would be the next step.

To rule out damaged data from the backup, set it up as a new device first and test the battery life.

If it is back to normal, restore from the latest backup and check again.
