How Do I Disable Apple Music Auto-Launch?
It seems like every time I connect or disconnect a Bluetooth audio device to my MacBook, iPad Mini, or iPhone, Apple Music not only gets launched, but steals focus from whatever else I am doing to be the active window on the screen.
I like and use Apple Music all of the time, and am not looking for any suggestions that involve removing or disabling that app, in any way.
But my problem is that I often use a Bluetooth earbud (third party - not AirPods) for calls, both on my iPhone and through third-party video-conferencing software, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet (but rarely Apple's FaceTime - not intentionally; it just seems like no one I know or work with really uses it). But anyway, any time I either put in or take out my Bluetooth earbud, Apple Music always opens and steals focus from whatever else I was doing.
How do I disable that? I am not interested in purchasing any third party solutions, nor am I interested in any kind of "hacky"/"jailbreak" type solution. I just want to know where the switch is to disable this behavior, because it is extremely disruptive if you're using earbuds for anything other than listening to music.
