I have witnessed that sometimes I check to see if my VPN is working. I notice the green off and on toggle will move from the off position to the on position as the setting opens. Is my data protected when I witness the action? iPhone 14 osx 18.6.2

Most of the regulars on here will say VPN and iphones do not play well together, and unless you want to override your countries data regulations you are better off uninstalling it. Problem will be solved.
You are correct but they will work. I can post a screen recording of what I am talking about.
In other words, when I open the settings I watch the toggle move from off to on. I will do some more testing a report back.

That leads me to another question. If my locations are turned off and my VPN is working, how would you know what country I am in?
