Glitchy sounds and functions on Mainstage

Hi. I've noticed recently when playing in a live band setting (connected to audio interface connected to speakers etc) that my sounds and functions have been glitching intermittently. The last two performances the three main glitches I noted were: 1) my pedal wasn't working on one of my homemade synth patches (when it has always worked before, for the last 6 months); 2) Analog Stack Synth, a Synth Lead, usually actually works with polyphony (which is why I selected it) but all of a sudden operated as if polyphony was set to 1; 3) my layered pad patch started to sound really disconnected: Chamber Choir is one of the layers and all of a sudden the voices sounded really prominently loud and soft depending on attack of the top finger, when usually they blend really beautifully with the other layered patches.

I tried closing and reopening the program, I tried turning the laptop off, tried coming back the next day, I tried switching the midi keyboard on and off. Nothing helped. But then I left the program on for around 45 minutes, not changing anything, and when I came back it worked beautifully. Until I turned it off and on again - then the same problems came back.

This is an October 2023 brand new laptop so don't think that's at fault. It's never done this before.

I know the program can be glitchy - is that what this is? Any tips on getting over the glitches? They are extremely annoying, especially when I know the amazing quality of sound these patches usually give. So strange.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
