Apple Music on macOS 26 Still Lacks "Sing" Feature Available on iOS
Having upgraded to macOS 26, I am surprised to find that Apple Music on my Mac still lacks the "Sing" feature, which enables users to lower vocals and engage with real-time lyrics for a karaoke-style experience. On iOS 26, this feature is effortlessly accessible via a mic icon during playback, allowing seamless vocal adjustments. In contrast, on macOS 26, while lyrics display normally, there is no option to activate "Sing" or modify vocal levels. Is this absence a deliberate choice, or is there a way to enable the "Sing" feature on macOS? This feels like a small oversight by the development team. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
Adding the "Sing" feature to Apple Music on macOS 26, mirroring its implementation on iOS 26, would be a significant enhancement. This would unify the music experience across Apple's platforms, enabling Mac users to enjoy sing-along functionality with adjustable vocals. A setting within Apple Music to toggle "Sing" could be a fantastic addition in a future macOS update.
I recently upgraded to macOS 26, and its performance is outstanding. I must commend Apple for the long-overdue refresh of the Apple Music app on macOS, which transforms the listening experience. I also greatly appreciate the addition of the AutoMix feature, which seamlessly blends tracks for an immersive listening journey. Glass has been a cornerstone of Apple's ecosystem, and Liquid Glass celebrates Apple's enduring design excellence. Well, I am hopeful everything will be polished in the next macOS 26 update or soon after. My gratitude extends to everyone at Apple for their remarkable work. Kudos!
