Only eSim in Europe? You can't. All EU model iPhone 17 and 17 Pro iPhones are physical SIM and eSim. So, there is no way to buy an eSim only 17 or 17 Pro in Europe at all. You can purchase the iPhone Air, which is eSim only. It's not a mistake if you want an iPhone 17 Pro Max which can use eSim, because all iPhone 17 Models sold in Europe can use eSim. Google and Samsung don't sell an eSim only phone in the EU either.

Mistake? You do know that both Samsung and Google do not offer eSIM only Android phones either in Europe, right?

Mistake? Seems to be the norm in the EU for the phones sold there to have a physical SIM and eSIM.
