I can't unlock my imac with apple watch in Tahoe

I've had this happen from time to time on multiple Macs.

First step is to turn off then turn back on the option to allow Apple Watch to unlock in System Settings > Touch ID & Password.

If that doesn't work, on the Mac sign out of your Apple Account (click the top item with your avatar and name in System Settings, then the Sign Out button at the bottom; then sign back in.
