backup iphone X to MacBook Pro

I'd like to backup iPHone XS to Big Sur (latest supported osx) of my macBook Pro 15" retina but when I link iPhone cable to Mac it has a strange behaviout as if It starts monitor to blink and It end when I terminate process which name is similar to usb...

Suggestions ?

Does your iPhone XS still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging
