Music and playlists not working after iOS 26 update

After installing iOS 26 most of my music became unavailable, playlists don’t work, and when I tap on a track it shows the message “not available in your region.”

I’ve been reading the forum and see that many others are experiencing the same issues.

Does anyone know a solution?

According to Tech Support, you can access your music (downloaded from your personal CD collection, etc) ONLY if you have an Apple Music account😤. So…I now have to pay Apple every month for access to MY 500GB of music that’s just sitting’ in the Cloud!!😫. That is just wrong. Everyone needs to call Tech Support and complain. Doubt if it will help, but…. FYI, you can access the music you have previously purchased from them.
