I recently updated my MacBook to OS Tahoe and since the update, my Radio Shack speakers are showing up as Headset. This makes the sound significantly reduced.

The Radio Shack I knew disappeared long, long ago. They once had retail stores everywhere – with stereos, radios, electronics components, electronics kits and toys, computers, and more. Then the stores all went out of business.

Looks like someone picked up the brand and is now using it to sell a bunch of accessories and low-end stuff.
