Files; Quick Actions; Convert to.... No longer there

I recently update all my devices to ios26 and i live and breathe through the files App on all my devices even connected to my Desktop thats a PC.

I noticed that now in the update with the preview App also being a thing on ipad and iPhone.....

I relied upon this feature in Files that can convert any file into something else for example, JPEG to PDF

and the way I would do this was on ipad/iphone

Long Press a file>Click on Quick Actions> Convert....

Now in ios 26 it just says these 2 options

"Mark Up"

"Optimize File Size"

Where did they go and if they removed them.... why would they do that, now i wont update my mac.

Same here. You have 2 options:

Use Windowed Apps (In Settings > Multitasking & Gesture). With this functionality turned on, swipe down from the top of the screen to display the manu bar and choose File > Export. You can then choose an export format.
Create a shortcut in Shortcuts that could be called from the Share function. Let me know if you want me to show you how.
