Too much Lag in low power mode ios 26

I have 16 Pro and I've noticed that there is a lot of lag in the UI after the ios 26 update when you're in low power mode. It works smoothly when low power mode is off. I am aware that low power reduces the FPS but I dont think it should be this bad. All animations appear choppy which is hurting my eyes a lot.

I don't know if this is a issue specific to my device or for all but its unexpected in the official release and hoping we will get a fix soon as low power mode is something everyone uses a lot.

You may want to look at my earlier post about adaptive power mode. Switching AP off will improve performance as well.

How often are you using your iPhone in Low Power Mode. It shouldn't be you normal mode of operation. It should be primarily used when you are low in power and don't have any way to charge your phone, so it reduces activities to give you longer run time so you can get somewhere to charge your phone.

You are NOT talking to Apple.

This is like complaining that your car can't keep up with traffic on the interstate if you don't shift above 2nd gear...

It's doing what you told it to do.

If you're unhappy with the performance in low power mode, then keep it charged so your don't have to use low power mode.

Which begs the question, WHY are you using Low Power Mode on a brand new iPhone? Do you understand what Low Power Mode is for and what it does?
