After upgrading my iPad operating system to iPadOS 26.0 (23A341) a problem with Pages app

After updating my iPad to iPadOS 26.0 (23A341), I have encountered a recurring issue with the Pages app. When creating a new document, or even editing an old one the app repeatedly attempts to save the file to iCloud but fails, displaying the message: “Can’t save file. If you close the file, you will lose data.”


This issue occurs frequently, though not with every document. My internet connection is stable, and when editing the same document on my iPhone, it saves to iCloud without any problem.

No it’s already signed into my iCloud with my Apple ID and password and I still have 77 GB storage on my iPad and still have about 200 gigabytes on my iCloud storage and both iPhone and iPad same account.

what looks strange is that this error occurs for few hours then it disappeared and recur again
