Apple Maps not logging visited places

I upgraded my iPhone 16 pro max to iOS 26 on Monday the 15th. I have noticed that Apple Maps is not logging my visited places. I have turned on location services, precise location, and significant locations & routes but no luck. Does anyone have a solution?
