Screenshots turned to stickers on messenger

After updating my iPhone to iOS 26, I noticed something strange with screenshots. When I take a screenshot and choose copy & delete, then try to paste it into Messenger, it pastes as a sticker instead of a regular image/attachment.

Has anyone else run into this issue or found a workaround?
