How to restore video names in Apple TV app after iOS 26 update?

the title sums it up pretty well ALL of my “home videos” are just a screenshot and the names assigned are gone.

this is worse than the last iOS update when all the photo albums were removed.

I have at least 200 different videos and have no clue what they are.

will there be a fix or can I go back to iOS 18? The new look of 26 is nice but absolutely not worth losing video functionality for.

I think this is part of the new design. The titles are no longer there and thumbnails have been replaced with Poster Art. I guess they think we can all read what’s in the image. My iPad has the run time only. MacBook has nothing. Best thing you can do is to let Apple know this isn’t suitable for you in the hopes they might consider changing it ->Feedback - Apple TV App - Apple

Doesn't work. Or, at least it didn't work for me. First, changing a video's tag cannot be done in iPadOS. Instead, it needs to be done on a Mac, using OS. It's done by using "Get Info" for each video, then changing the tag under the "Options" tab. I've now done that for half a dozen videos that formerly were tagged as Home Videos. Under the new "Movies" tag, the titles still do not show up, at least in OS 26 Tahoe. I've quit, then relaunched TV. And I've restarted. Still no titles. Still no excuse for this new behavior.
