Safari 26.0 - No Website Connection After Update

After updating to Safari 26.0 and Sequoia 15.7, Safari no longer connects to any pages. I’m getting this error message for all pages: “Safari can’t open [this page] because the server unexpectedly dropped the connection.” Other browsers like Firefox and Chrome are working fine, so this issue seems to be limited to Safari, and I’ve tried all the usual troubleshooting methods. Any suggestions?

Thanks all. I was able to resolve this issue. Based on a tip on another post, I went into System Settings -> Network -> Filters, and it turns out that a filter that I wasn’t using was apparently still active. I disabled the filter and Safari works. Hope this helps someone else.
