Cannot make Taho26 work. Cannot get into the internet

I ran into issue trying to set up Tahoe—it was telling me my AppleID psswd was not correct when trying to get past terms & conditions dialogue.

I would never just willy nilly change a psswd if you know it is correct as always.

I had to log in to iCloud through a browser https://www.icloud.com/ as a work around. (maybe there i could accept the new terms— don't remember exactly)

logged in there, logged out, loggd in—

then all of a sudden the Tahoe installation set up went forward without an issue.
