Will iPhone 16 Pro screen protectors fit the new 17 Pro screen?

As we all know this time of year we are scrambling to get New cases and screen protectors bought before our new phone comes in. We definitely know new cases are a must but I want to know if we can get 16 pro/pro max screen protectors for the 17 pro/pro max phones. I ask this because I have lifetime replacements on my 16 pro/pro max phones and if I can just get those for free I’m golden. I’m spending enough on the phones and cases as it is. If I can get a break on the screens I’ll be extremely happy. Thanks in advance!!!!

If they have screen protectors for 16 Pro Max, there’s a good chance those will fit the 17 Pro Max — many signs point that being okay.

If they have protectors for 16 Pro (non-Max) and want to use them on 17 Pro, it's more of a risk. Some might work, but some will have issues with cutouts or edges.

If I were in your shoes, I’d test one protector first (if feasible), or order a small batch of 17 Pro-specific ones to compare. That way you can see if the 16 Pro ones you already have are usable.
