Migration Manager stalls at 9350 files during iMac transfer

I am using Migration Manager everything happened as predicted and then the files seems to stop transferring at 9350 files and of course to predicted time for completion has increased to 10 hors and 29 minutes and rising

Original Title: I am trying to migrate my 2020 iMac to my new 2025 iMac. it seems to have stalled at 9350 files..twice. any solutions?

If you terminate the migration one of several outcomes to that User Account will result.

Everything will either work normally with no apparent loss of data,
some things will work, but some items / apps will be missing or won't work at all, or
nothing will work.

If you have reason to believe progress will never resume you really don't have any other choice.

Below are the steps to follow for a 100% flawless migration. I suspect that you may have used Wi-Fi to migrate, this was an error as the Wi-Fi method frequently fails. Please follow the steps in the link below!!!
