Notes field in Calendar events not saving reliably on macOS 15 (Tahoe)

Hi everyone,

I’m running macOS 15.0 (Tahoe – build 25A354) and I’ve been experiencing an issue with the Calendar app, specifically with the Notes field inside events.

I use the Calendar app as my main agenda and rely heavily on adding important details in the Notes section of each appointment. However, in recent weeks, I’ve noticed the following:

• After editing the Notes field of an event and clicking outside the window (e.g., on the background of the calendar), the changes often don’t get saved.

• When I reopen the event, the Notes have reverted to a previous state — or the new info is simply gone.

• This happens inconsistently: sometimes it works fine, sometimes not. That inconsistency makes it hard to trust the app.

Here’s what I’ve already tried:

• Updated to macOS 15.0 (Tahoe – 25A354)

• Restarted both the app and my Mac

• Confirmed the event is in my default editable calendar

I did experience this issue before upgrading to Tahoe, and it’s becoming a real problem in my daily workflow. There’s also no “Save” or “OK” button to explicitly confirm changes in the Notes section — so I rely on just clicking outside to “close” the editor.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Any known fixes or workarounds?
