this was the worst update ever! So many issues, the battery life is cut in half, I can't get imessages only sms or rcs, latency between apps, overall performance is terrible.
They need to roll this back!!!

Apple does NOT support downgrading. And the iOS 26 update, didn't cause any issues on my phone. Surely you Force Restarted your phone after you updated (which is recommended and what I do after every iOS update)? Here's how to do that --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

To say they need to roll this back, when there are millions upon millions upon millions of users who have no issues with iOS 26 doesn't make sense.

You didn't mention which iPhone you own and what it's Battery Health is? Open Settings > Battery > Battery Health and post back what it is.

Wow, you have been updating iPhones for 17+ years? That's impressive.

Not going to happen, you you'll have to try something else. Maybe we could help if you could provide some details on your phone.

What model? How much storage is being used? Battery Max Capacity? Screen shots of the apps that are using the most power? You get the idea.
