Music app behaving unexpectedly in 26.0 on MacBook Air (M3)

I use the Music app to play audio ads when I broadcast sporting events. Before the update, I could put four copies of an ad in a playlist if I wanted to make sure it played four times. Now, when I go through my playlist, when it reaches the second instance of an ad, Music jumps back up to the first time it appears in the playlist. Is there a way to go back to maintaining my playlist in the order I want it to play, without it jumping back to near the top.

In the screenshot, when the second Verimore Bank ad, Track 10, is scheduled to play, it jumps back to Track 1.
