Vision Pro: No Sound from Built-In Speakers

For a few months now, I've been unable to get audio from my Vision Pro's built-in speakers. For a short time, rebooting would bring it back, but after a couple days, even that didn't help.

I see that, in the Control Center, with my Air Pods not connected, the volume slider shows up as greyed out, suggesting that the audio device itself is ... invalidated ... in some sense (hosed up driver, perhaps?).

Anybody have any suggestions what settings might be hosed up, or things that need to get reset or something like that?

So, I don't see any sort of mute function in Accessibility -> Audio & Visual. Or am I missing it somehow?

Oodles of reboots, so that's not it.

I doubt sound is mistakenly going out to my AirPods, since it's still silent when I tell it to forget the AirPods, and then shut off Bluetooth.

The volume is normal when I am connected to AirPods, so I don't think it's a volume-setting concern. As I mentioned though, the volume slider in the Control Center for the built-in speakers is grayed out completely, suggesting that the built-in speakers are in some sense ... invalidated (e.g., driver hosed up).

There may not be much choice but to hit General -> Reset (not erase, but just Reset).
