tvos26 TV App missing all poster art in my library

Updated to tvos26 on two different Apple TVs. Both 3rd gen. One wifi only, the other wifi+ethernet. After updating my purchased library of movies and tv shows no longer have any artwork. In addition the app freezes sometimes when switching from Movies to TV Shows or to 4K HDR or to one of the Genres. I have 1500+ Movies and 300+ TV shows.

I have restarted. Unplugged and replugged. Signed out of itunes account and signed back in. I've even done a reset on one of them. Nothing helps. I have left it sitting for over an hour and not a single poster shows up. Adding to the headache, the files no longer have titles underneath them, so I can't even see what the movies and shows are without the poster art.

I have a 1 gig fiber line to the ethernet one, and the wifi one connects at 600 Mbps. So connection speed shouldn't be an issue either.

What do I do now?

Update.. the only way I could get it to work to update the movie art in library In the TV app on the Apple TV .. was actually to not just sign out of the Apple TV but also to completely remove the main profile.. once you add the main profile back the art will populate.. it just takes time … also i figured out from updating the Apple TVs in my guest bedrooms that you won’t have a library issue if you update on a non 4k tv .. they all load the library just fine .. so if you have any old non 4k tv laying.. hook it up then perform the update .. of course we should not have to do all this lol but that’s the work around I found that worked … now if I can only figure out the work around for iOS 26 on my phone.. no matter what I try there the tv App Library art still won’t load at all

Same here and I have about 5000 movies and 500 shows about 4 years ago I ran into this issue updating to the latest tvOS and I went almost 2 years before Apple finally fixed it in an update.. it had to do with large libraries generally of 1500 movies or more … I pray this is not the issue again .. I can’t wait another 2 years for it to be fixed … how can you scan your library for movies you wanna watch .. this needs to be fixed ASAP .. I can’t do this again … Apple wouldn’t even acknowledge the problem at first so I wasted months on phone calls w tech folks that were just walking me in a circle
