Unknown new black icon appears on my iPad mini screen upgraded to ios26

See Settings > Accessibility > Hover Text. For whatever reason, either it was hidden before, or auto switched on with the iPadOS 26 update. I toggled it off and the icon disappeared. It is used to display a large-text view of items under the pointer or Apple Pencil.

Same here.it appears to lock the screen and gives a text description of the selected icon. I was wondering if it was something that could be switched off in the accessibility menu.
